RA NA MP Tigran Abrahamyan writes:
"They often ask why these or those unbreakable people are subjected to political persecution and detention. One thing is that they are firm, they will keep their principles until the end. The government's task is not to break these people or to stop them from their own positions.
By depriving public, politically active figures of their freedom, the regime is trying to create an atmosphere of fear in society, trying to prevent people's activity, their involvement in public-political processes and voicing their views on public platforms.
The government becomes more nervous and aggressive when the tools it uses become less effective, and the main nail of the processes it initiates becomes the administrative resource."
