Three days of mourning have been announced in Spain

The Spanish government has declared three days of official mourning in connection with the victims of heavy rains and floods. at least 72 people were killed, some went missing.

This is reported by RIA Novosti, citing the words of the Minister of Territorial Policy of Spain, Angel Victor Torres, from the press conference.

"The Prime Minister of Spain, Pedro Sánchez, spoke with His Majesty the King and gave him an official three-day mourning decree, on October 31, November 1 and 2," he said at a press conference.

The minister regretted that he could not provide official data on the exact number of missing, but assured that Madrid would work with regional governments to help the victims as quickly as possible. According to him, the material damage was "very significant", although the most serious for the country is the loss of life.
