Tigran Abrahamyan, secretary of the National Assembly "I have honor" faction, referred to the ongoing protests in Iran.
"The new tension created in and around Iran is worrying. First of all, Iran is not just a neighbor, it is a country with which the Armenian people have warm and friendly relations.
Second, any instability in the south of Armenia could damage the fragile regional stability and security.
Any external intervention is unacceptable, which instead of solidarity and internal peace will aggravate the situation and endanger the interests of the people of a friendly country."
