Today, January 2, an extraordinary incident took place in Ararat Marz. According to shamshyan.com, at around 7:10 p.m., the Ararat regional criminal department of the main criminal police department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Armenia received operational information that a stabbing took place on the Yerevan-Yeraskh-Meghri highway, near the "Adana" restaurant complex, and there was an injured person.
The criminal police found an "Opel" car at the scene of the incident, with blood-like traces on it and outside. The criminal police transferred the information about the incident to the Ararat regional investigative department of the RA Investigative Committee, from where the investigative team headed by the head of the department Tigran Shokhoyan, the deputy head of the department Nerses Muradyan and the investigator on duty for the day. Criminal proceedings were initiated in the investigative department.
According to the website, the criminal police found out that the pregnant woman was stabbed by her husband in the found "Opel" and are taking necessary measures to find her and the instrument of the crime, as well as verifying the identity of the suspect and the injured.
