In Azerbaijan, the construction of "Zangezur Corridor" continues at an accelerated pace. This was announced by Prime Minister of Azerbaijan Ali Asadov at the session of the intergovernmental joint commission of Azerbaijan and Turkey.
Asadov announced that this railway with a capacity of 15 million tons at the initial stage will become the main artery of the "Middle Corridor".
"It is a pleasure to note that the foundation stone of the Kars-Nakhijevan railway was laid in August, which is a part of the "Zangezur Corridor" and will serve both Azerbaijan, Turkey and other countries," he said.
