Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi will pay an official visit to Belarus on December 15, and to Russia on December 16-17. He plans to discuss nuclear issues with his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov, the official representative of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Ismail Bagha, told RIA Novosti.
"The Foreign Minister's visit to Belarus and Russia will begin this evening (Sunday, December 14 — ed.). On Monday (December 15 — ed.), he will have meetings with his counterpart in Belarus and a number of high-ranking officials of that country. On Tuesday and Wednesday (December 16-17 — ed.), meetings are planned for the minister with representatives of the Russian authorities," Baghai said.
The official representative of Iran's Foreign Ministry explained that on December 16, Araghchi will meet with representatives of the State Duma, and on December 17, with Sergey Lavrov.
