Olympic vice-champion Mihran Harutyunyan returns to mixed martial arts after a long break. The former wrestler announced this on his social pages.


Former member of the Armenian Greco-Roman wrestling team in 2026. on January 31, he will hold his 8th fight in mixed martial arts (MMA).


"The countdown has begun. On January 31, I will return to the octagon with UpNextFighting. Another fight, a new round," wrote Mihran Harutyunyan.


The MMA fighter is represented by the American company UpNextFighting (UNF).


Harutyunyan has been absent from the Octagon for almost 2 years. The previous fight took place in 2023. on August 22 in Los Angeles, where the 40-year-old David Douglas, nicknamed "Tarzan", representing the USA, won the Olympic vice-champion prematurely in the first round.
