Shahin Abbasov was sentenced to 17 years in prison in Moscow

The Moscow City Court sentenced Shahin Abbasov to 17 years in prison for killing a motorcycle driver whom he reprimanded for parking, reports RIA Novosti.

His brother, Shohrat, was sentenced to 12 years, and the other defendant was sentenced to 8 years.

According to the investigators, on April 17, 2024, Shahin Abbasov, a 21-year-old citizen of Azerbaijan, parked his car on the sidewalk in front of the building on Krasnodarskaya Street, Lublino District, Moscow. This angered 24-year-old motorcyclist Kirill Kovalev, who reprimanded the driver. Kovalev attacked him, beat him, and then stabbed him in the stomach. Kovalev died from his injuries.
