Trump has ordered the Pentagon to prepare an attack on Nigeria

US President Donald Trump has again accused the Nigerian government of crimes against Christians and considered it possible that the United States will "enter" the African country.

"The United States will immediately cut off all aid to Nigeria and may enter this disgraced country to completely eliminate the Islamic terrorists who are committing these horrific atrocities," he declared.

The White House instructed the Department of Defense to "prepare for possible action." If there is an attack, "it will be hard, fast and skillful," Trump promised.

Pete Hegsett, head of the Pentagon, responded by stating that the US military is preparing for operations against Nigeria.

"Either the Nigerian government will protect Christians or we will destroy the Islamic terrorists who are committing these terrible atrocities," he wrote on social networks.
