An alert was received from the eco-patrol service of the Environmental Protection and Subsoil Inspection Body of the Ministry of Internal Affairs regarding a bear cub trapped in the fence in the administrative area of the Hermon settlement in the Vayots Dzor region. This is reported by the BTU.
The employees of the inspection body went to the mentioned place, where they found a 2-year-old bear cub trapped in a homemade metal wire. As a result of the investigation of the area, 3 improvised metal wires were also found, which were confiscated.
In order to treat the injuries caused by the wire rope of the puppy and to return it to the wild in the future, the wild animal was transferred to the Urtsadzor Caucasian Biodiversity Sanctuary of the Fund for the Conservation of Wildlife and Cultural Values.
