Any outcome of the meeting between US President Donald Trump and Chinese President Xi Jinping will be Beijing's victory, the American CNN channel reports.
The channel said it was still unclear what concessions each side would make in the first face-to-face meeting between Xi Jinping and Trump since the start of the US president's second term, but "regardless of the outcome, it will be a victory for China."
CNN believes that a new reality will emerge in Sino-American relations from the moment Xi Jinping enters the negotiation room. According to the TV channel, China "cannot be forced to submit to the will of the United States with threats."
According to CNN, the upcoming meeting will allow Xi Jinping to show that "China occupies an equal position with the United States in the world arena."
