Yesterday, around 18:00, there was an alarm about the disappearance of 3-year-old Tigran Ovanesov, a resident of Tsapatagh village, and since then, the rescue service, volunteers from other communities of the region participated in the search, but we still have no results.
The search is still ongoing. Gegharkunik Marz Governor Karen Sargsyan said this in a conversation with journalists. She noted that according to relatives, the child was with her older brother, the child's family is socially insecure, the community provided support to them. Speaking about the circulating versions, she noted:
"There are rumors that the children were seen here, the children were seen a little below, then a brother was seen returning home, but these rumors are contradictory, I don't want us to focus on that. It is better to carry out the search operations in full, to try to understand."
Sargsyan also denied the information circulating in the media that the child's mother was taken to the police. "There is no such thing. I am not aware that the mother was taken to the police, I am aware that yesterday was the child's mother's birthday, they celebrated the birth at their home," said the governor.
