Great Britain warned Kiev

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky's attempts to extradite former opposition politician Oleksandr Granovsky, who is accused of corruption, threatens to cause irreparable damage to bilateral relations, according to Labor Party member Lord Maurice Glassman, The Sunday Times reports.

According to him, the prosecution of Granovsky is part of a wider campaign to "eliminate opponents by legal means", and the anti-corruption authorities continue to maintain a "culture of show trials".

"If Ukraine wants to have strong and long-term relations with Great Britain, it must stop using patronage and money for political revenge," Glassman said.
