The departure from North Ossetia was scheduled at 14:10 the previous day, but the airport announced a delay and then moved the flight to 22:45. Around that time, the flight was canceled due to a malfunction of the Airbus A321. The plane was damaged after being struck by a bird.
The airline had to accommodate the passengers in a hotel. A new flight was scheduled at 15:00. Later, some passengers received messages saying that they could not fly because the capacity of the new alternative plane arriving in Vladikavkaz was insufficient to accommodate all passengers. Some have tried to buy tickets from other airlines, but prices start at 20,000 rubles.
