US President Donald Trump intends to raise issues related to Taiwan during the meeting with Chinese President Xi Jinping in South Korea on October 30.
"I will talk about Taiwan. I will not go there, but I will talk about it," said the head of the Washington administration. The American leader answered journalists' questions on the South Lawn of the White House before the start of his tour.
"I have great respect for Taiwan," Trump added.
"We have a lot to discuss with President Xi Jinping. And he has a lot to discuss with us. I think it will be a good match," he said
