Palestinian factions have agreed to hand over administration of the Gaza Strip to an interim technocratic government and set up an international committee to rebuild the enclave, Hamas said in a statement released after an inter-Palestinian meeting in Cairo.

"Participants of the meeting agreed to transfer the administration of the Gaza Strip to a temporary committee made up of local technocrats, which will regulate daily life in the post-war period in cooperation with friendly Arab countries and international organizations," said a statement released after the inter-Palestinian meeting in Cairo.
