"The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia condemns the military attacks carried out against the Islamic Republic of Iran, which violate its sovereignty and international laws, the security and stability of the countries of the region and its peoples," the statement said.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Saudi Arabia also called on the conflicting parties to show maximum restraint, warning about the negative consequences of the escalation in the Middle East.
"The Kingdom calls on the international community and the parties involved to fulfill their obligations to de-escalate and prevent and mitigate conflicts in the region," the statement said.
