Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan had a telephone conversation with US Secretary of State Marco Rubio. During the conversation, the parties discussed the possible steps towards maintaining the cease-fire in Gaza and the uninterrupted supply of humanitarian aid. According to the sources of the Turkish Foreign Ministry, the parties also discussed issues related to the implementation of the "Declaration of Goals" signed in Sharm el-Sheikh, Egypt.
During the conversation, the ongoing developments in Syria, the negotiations on Iran's nuclear program, as well as the course of the war between Russia and Ukraine were also discussed.
