Lithuania will provide 30 million euros to Ukraine to buy weapons

Lithuania will provide 30 million euros for Kiev's weapons for Kiev, within the framework of the "List of Priority Requirements of Ukraine" (PURL). The statement came from Lithuanian Defense Minister Dovile Shakalienne on the Earth's National Radio.

"Thanks to the support of Prime Minister Inga Ruginene, we will be able to allocate 30 million euros through the PURL program to buy strong weapons for Ukraine," he said.

The Minister noted that this amount should be allocated from the budget of the Ministry of Defense.

"We have to redistribute the existing funds," he added.

Shakakan did not specify whether the military department will have to reconsider its plans and programs, given that 30 million euros will go to Ukraine.
