The Georgian State Security Service has announced the arrest of three country citizens in Adjara, who tried to smuggle their territory to the influential members of the "Islamic State" (banned) terrorist group in Russia.

"Thus, providing the illegal acceptance / fit of supporters, the provision of logistics services and the transit use of the Georgian territory," the statement said.
It was noted that things depicting terrorist symbols were confiscated during the search, as well as explosives, a large amount of ammunition, firearms, money, mobile phones and information to transfer information.
An investigation is underway with two criminal articles, which envisage punishment for illegal acquisition and maintenance of firearms, ammunition and explosives, as well as to support foreign terrorist organization and support terrorist activities.
