Russian President Vladimir Putin has arrived in Tajikistan, RIA Novosti correspondent reports.
The visit will last from October 8 to 10. The working program includes participation in the second "Central Asia-Russia" summit and the sitting of the CIS Council of Leaders.
In addition, Putin will hold talks with Tajikistan President Emomali Rahmon. Issues of development of Russian-Tajik strategic partnership and allied relations in various spheres will be discussed.
As a result of the talks, it is planned to sign a joint statement, as well as a number of interstate, intergovernmental and interdepartmental documents.
