The Swiss authorities have extended the status of protection for Ukrainian refugees

The Swiss government announced on Wednesday that the status of the defense of the Ukrainian refugees has been extended until March 4, 2027.

Special S status provides the right to work, including self-employment, insurance, children's education, the ability to move freely within the country, as well as the possibility of reunification of the family.

At its October 8 sitting, the Federal Council decided to maintain the status of the Safse for those who need protection from Ukraine to March 4, 2027, "the statement posted on the website of the Swiss government website said.

The publication clarifies that if the situation in Ukraine improve in the long run, the Federal Council will terminate the status.
