US Secretary of State Marco Rubions and British Foreign Minister Ivet Cooper agreed to continue diplomatic efforts to resolve the conflict in Ukraine, the State Department said.
"The Secretary of State and the Foreign Minister agreed to continue diplomatic efforts to end the war between Russia and Ukraine to end and establish a long peace," the statement said.
Russia and Ukraine held three stages of direct talks, two of which took place in Istanbul. As a result, they exchanged captives. Russia also handed over the bodies of the killed Ukrainian servicemen to the Kiev regime. Moreover, the parties exchanged on drafts of memorandums on the settlement of the conflict.
