The building in the center of Madrid has partially collapsed, and at least one person can remain under the rubble, PAIS newspaper reported on Tuesday.
"At the center of Madrid, near the 6th issue of the Opera District, a building collapsed on Ileras Street. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. Sources close to the investigation have reported that "at least six floors collapsed, and at least one person can be left in the ruins," the publication writes.
According to him, the collapse took place in the building where construction works were underway. Firefighters and ambulance groups are at the scene. Eyewitnesses claim that a short time before the collapse felt a strong shock and saw a dense cloud of dust on the street.
