Apple's Siri is under investigation

The French prosecutor's office has launched an investigation into Apple's Siri voice assistant. The investigation began on the basis of an independent protest by an independent researcher, which is accused of illegally collecting data, Reuters reports.

The Paris Prosecutor's Office stated that the investigation has been instructed to a specialized police unit to fight cybercrime. The details of the incident have not yet been published.

The complaint was initiated by researcher Thomas Le Bonney. He told Reuters that it was presented on behalf of the French Human Rights Organization, the Human Rights League (LDH).

LDH accused Apple's Siri conversations without collecting, recording and analyzing them. At the time of the publication, the organization did not comment on this issue.
