A bear was attacked by a Spanish tourist in Japan. This was reported by El Caso.
The incident took place on October 5, at around 8:30 am, in the village of Shirakava, Giffu Prefecture. The tourist was photographed with his friend in the village of traditional Japanese rural houses, when a young bear suddenly came out of the bushes. The animal scribbled into the man's hand, then fled. His friend was not injured. According to the newspaper, the tourist received light scratches, which do not pose a threat to his life.
According to Japanese media, this is the first attack on a man over the past 11 years. The local police, hunters and representatives of the administrative bodies of the community are engaged in the search for the beast.
