The "Fact" daily writes:
While the attention of the Armenian society is focused on the country's foreign policy, the issues of the national economy are somewhat out of the center of attention. At the same time, the rhetoric of the authorities can be concluded that the prosperity will allegedly will automatically come to Armenia in case of reaching certain agreements with the Turks.
Thus, the uniqueness of any program of any economic development of Armenia, which is presented by the current government, can be distinguished.
They always assume that Armenia should serve Turkey and Azerbaijan as a market as a transit platform, as a link in the economic chains of the Turks, and other such ways. This is harmful to Armenia because he is constantly dependent on the mood of Turkish and Azerbaijani elites. And as easy to imagine, these moods will always be due to the fact that Armenia is made to make the demands of Baku and Ankara.
For example, the "Peace Crossroads" project, which is so actively preached by Nikol Pashinyan, again leads to the same thing to turn Armenia into the transit zone for Turks. The project is not politically viable in terms of non-logistics. Isn't Armenia been suitable for anything else than to be a transit corridor of Turkey and Azerbaijan? Pashinyan promises that this will increase Armenia's international status, but from the same Aliyevs, it becomes clear that the attitude towards our country will be extremely disrespectful. We will simply ask us to give way (both directly and in a figurative sense) and silence that, there is a bold idea to solve Armenia's economic problems by organizing its membership in the European Union. However, the majority of Armenians respond to such programs with a sad smile.
Frankly, becoming a member of the EU for Armenia is as real as the fifty-one state of America. If Armenia is interested in Europe, it is exclusively as a transit area between Azerbaijan and Turkey. In other words, again with the connection with the Turks, moreover, not as an equal partner, but a significant role. In general, a party behind the government for a long time has clearly cannot offer any new economic project for Armenia, where there is no key point on the need for the maintenance of Turkish and Azerbaijani economies.
Against this background, the simple and specific economic solutions proposed by Samvel Karapetyan, which do not involve multipotent Armenia's membership in the "Economic Ottoman Empire". He noted the high level of unemployment (and the low quality of life) in the regions of the republic, which is why the only way to see the only way out. He considers the best solution to the problem industrialization, in particular the construction of factories where they were once. He also attaches importance to the promotion of demand for goods produced in Armenia.
This is realistic, currently the country is buying more than $ 4 billion a year than selling another way to change the system of agricultural products and the formation of competition in this area. This will allow agricultural citizens to receive decent money for their products. It will stimulate the villagers to work in this area, not to live with benefits, play backgammon and without any changes to hope.
Thus, talking about the problem of unemployment, Karapetyan offers.
- creation of new productions,
- Reform of the purchase system, - Involvement of international investors,
- State target programs for supporting local businesses.
And it's nice that there is no point on this list of expansion of economic cooperation with Turkey, neither of the EU or the United States to ask something. In other words, it is automatically clear that Armenia can solve its economic problems on its own.
After all, he is not disabled. Avamvel Karapetyan's approach is called "practical" and connects to his big business. But in some sense, any approach to the economy is business, just a lot depends on the approach of the authorities. The country can be respected or not to believe in its capabilities or gain, to consider it that it deserves to be independent to assume that his fate is always the "helper" of others.
Pashinyan, who chooses the role of the transit platform for the "great players" for Armenia, simply does not respect our country. And it is his right. It's just that it's not good to stay behind the country with such disrespectful treatment.
