"The introduction of universal mandatory health insurance in Armenia remains on paper. It is announced year after year, it is close, but the program is constantly postponed. Deputy Minister Lena Nanushyan is constantly deferred. He coordinates the process, but during his tenure it did not provide neither schedule nor the real result. Nanushyan is known for successfully avoiding responsibility, being unaware of many nuances in his field. Today, he tries to blame the failure on Minister Anahit Avanesyan, having tense relations with him.
At the same time, criticism cannot bypass Minister Avanesyan. As a member of the political team, he should not only participate in the CP sessions, but also obliged the insurance program to complete and prevent its continued postponement. In fact, the Minister inactively contributed to the fact that the most important promise will continue to remain unplanned.
As a result, it should be noted that the PS Power has failed one of the key points of its own program. This is not only a health problem. Introduction of insurance is also one of the mandatory conditions for visa liberalization with the EU. This failure not only disrupts the social security of Armenian citizens, but also weakens the country's European agenda. When will universal health insurance finally be implemented or that it remains only another deception of the pre-election campaign? "
