Spanish Defense Minister Margarita Robles announced during the session of the Contact Group on Ukraine (known as the "Ramstein" format) that Madrid will transfer another batch of Leopard tanks to Kiev in June, the Spanish newspaper El Mundo reported.
The newspaper report says that Robles also promised to send various ammunition to Ukraine and to continue the training of the Ukrainian military.
During the meeting of the "Ramstein" group, which took place online, US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin informed that Washington will soon send a new aid package to Ukraine, which also includes armored vehicles. Austin did not specify which cars he was talking about.
