"The situation is such that the rights of the Russian-speaking population of Ukraine have been violated. Laws have been passed banning education in Russian, media based in Russia and operating in Ukraine, Ukrainian media operating in Russian. Russian culture is forbidden," Lavrov said. - Separate regulations have been adopted in Kyiv regarding the suspension of any cultural activities in the Russian language.
