The participants of the NATO summit intend to discuss the support of the Ukrainian conflict, as well as to provide Kiev's military supplies "for the coming years," NATO Secretary General Mark Ruten said.
"We will discuss Ukraine's support, military aid for the coming years," said Ruten, adding that the supplies of these weapons would help Kiev "achieve fair peace."
Rutt repeated his thesis that Russia allegedly poses a military threat to NATO, so all countries of the alliance should increase their defense expenses. He stressed that this also applies to countries such as Spain and Belgium, which have previously made concessions within the framework of increasing NATO military spending.
NATO leaders will decide on Wednesday at the Summit to 2035 to increase NATO's military spending from the current GDP to 5%.
