Poland will not refuse to support Ukraine, Politico writes

Polish Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski believes that Warsaw will not refuse to support Ukraine or strengthen its defense, despite the defeat of the ruling coalition in the presidential election, Politico writes.

According to the Polish National Electoral Commission, in the second round of the June 1 presidential election, the opposition was received by 50.89% of votes, defeating the representative of the ruling coalition Rafal Traskovsky, who received 49.11%.

"Poland will not renounce its growing role in Ukraine or the EU's defeat in the presidential election," the statement said, quoting Sikorski interview.
The Minister also stressed that most of Warsaw's defense agreements were signed during the previous government.
