In the south of Poland, heavy rain, wind and hail damaged the front parts of houses and auxiliary buildings. Bad weather also affected neighboring Belarus.
Polish authorities say that about 30,000 people have remained without electricity in some parts of the country, as strong winds have overthrown trees and power lines.
Rescuers are reportedly working on Thursday to eliminate the effects of adverse weather.
