The new ministerial meeting on bilateral trade between the United States and China will take place on June 9 in London, US President Donald Trump said.
"I am glad to announce that Minister of Finance Scott Bassent, Minister of Trade Howard Jamison Write will meet with Chinese officials on June 9, Monday to discuss the trade agreement. The meeting will probably go very well, "the American leader told Truth Social.
An agreement on the new meeting was reached during a telephone conversation between Trump and China President Si Jinpin on June 5.
Trade and economic talks between the United States and China took place in Switzerland on May 10-11. After these talks, the parties announced the mutual reduction of customs duties on May 14.
