The death toll from an Israeli airstrike on a school building in the northern Gaza Strip under the auspices of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) has risen to 28, Gaza media reported.
According to the data published on his Telegram channel, "28 people were killed and 160 were injured" as a result of the Israeli attack on the Abu Hussein school in Jabalia. The department stressed that there were displaced people in the building of the former educational institution.
WAFA earlier reported 17 deaths. According to him, after the attack, a fire broke out in a tent camp in the adjacent area, which was destroyed by the internally displaced persons who arrived in Jabalia.
