German Chancellor Friedrich Merz has called on the approach to US President Donald Trump and talk to him, not about him.
"Let's stop talking about Donald Trump with an elevated index and a dissatisfied expression," said the Prime Minister at the "Day of Family Enterprises" in Berlin. "We have to talk to him, not about him," Merz added.
Chancellor believes that the US administration is open to discussions and is ready to accept another opinion. "You can talk to Americans, but you can't let you be afraid," he said.
Massage drew attention to the fact that during a meeting with Trump in the White House in the Ovalid Office, he expressed another opinion on the Ukrainian conflict than the US President. "And not only didn't we have any disagreement, but we have discussed this topic in detail during dinner," said Chancellor.
Massage returned from Washington on Friday, where he met with the US President on Thursday.
