Israeli Foreign Minister Gideon Saar thanked US President Donald Trump and the US administration to veto the UN Security Council resolution on the issue of immediate ceasefire.
"I thank President Trump and the US administration to take a shoulder to stand by the US administration and veto the UN Security Council," said Saar, according to the press service of the Israeli Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
According to him, "the proposed resolution only strengthens the [Palestinian radical movement] Hamas and disrupts the American efforts to reach an agreement on the hostages."
