Axios. Tehran will come to an agreement with the United States if uranium in Iran is enriched

Tehran is ready to discuss the establishment of a regional uranium enrichment consortium proposed by the United States as part of a possible nuclear agreement with Washington, but only if it works in Iran.

The parties may continue negotiations this weekend, Axios reports, citing an anonymous high-ranking Iranian official.

"If the consortium operates in Iran, it can be considered. However, if it is outside the country, it will definitely be convicted of failure, "said the portal source.

Axios reports that the consortium, which, will include Saudi Arabia, UAE, Qatar and Turkey, to operate the international atomic energy agency (IAEA) inspectors and will supply nuclear fuel to countries that seek to develop their civic nuclear programs.

According to the portal, the sixth round of talks on Iran's nuclear program, with the participation of the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the US President Steven Wittofof and Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghi may take place in one of the Middle East.
