Sweden will start testing a new drone in 2026

Swedish military-industrial SAAB announced the trials of the new drone, which is planned to be used against Russia. This was reported by Svenska Dagbladet.

SAAB CEO Mikael Johansson said that the tests will start in 2026. According to him, new fighters will be able to hit the targets in the depths of the enemy. The company is currently close to creating such a device.

In the past, military expert Vasily Dandikin said that Saab 37 Viggen fighter, created during the Cold War, is already outdated today. However, he stressed that Sweden had a significantly developed military industry, which produced a full range of weapons.
