Today, on May 28, an event dedicated to the proclamation of the First Republic of Armenia took place in Tyumen's "St. Mesrop Mashtots" Armenian Apostolic Orthodox Church.
The First Republic contributed to the formation of the national identity of the Armenian people and became the foundation of the modern Armenian state and the society.
The event was organized by the staff of the Armenian Cultural Center operating within the framework of the "Union of Armenians of Tyumen" NGO.
The event was attended by the students of the cultural center, the "Nairi" dance ensemble, the group of Dholerlands and the students of the educational center.
In his speech, the chairman of the "Union of Armenians of Tumen" NGO AA Hoveyan congratulated all those present on the occasion of the holiday and once again reminded of the importance of unity. After all, only unity can be overcome all trials and have a strong state.
The young republic was able to inherit many counsel on all future generations. According to him, it shows how important national unity, joint efforts, internal harmony and patience are.
