Hürriyet. Turkey is ready to adopt a new phase of Ukrainian talks

Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan has confirmed the readiness of the republic during the talks in Moscow to adopt a new phase of peace talks on Ukraine and to provide any support for the settlement of the conflict. The pro-government Hürriyet newspaper writes about this.

Fidan is on a two-day visit to Moscow at the invitation of his Russian counterpart Sergey Lavrov. On May 26, he met with Russian presidential assistant Vladimir Medinsky, who was headed by the Russian delegation in the talks with Ukraine in Istanbul on May 16.

Fiddan was also received by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The other important topic of negotiations, according to Hürriyet, is the situation in Syria. "Ankara wants Russia to continue to support the political and territorial integrity of Syria," the statement said.
