Russia and Ukraine will hold the third stage of captives exchange with Russia on May 25. This was announced by the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelenki, according to his Telegram, emphasizing that 697 Ukrainians have already been released in two days.
"The problem is that absolutely all those who are currently being held in Russia are released. This is a joint effort to intelligence agencies, diplomats and the entire state, "Zelensky said.
On May 24, Moscow and Kiev handed over 307 Ukrainians and Russian servicemen captive. This was not the first exchange in Istanbul within the framework of the agreements reached in the negotiations on the exchange of prisoners in Istanbul.
