Last night, the Russian air defense systems on duty shot down 13 Ukrainian drones, most of them over the Oryol region, the Russian Ministry of Defense reports.

"Last night, an attempt by the Kiev regime to carry out a terrorist attack on targets in the territory of the Russian Federation using an aviation-type drone was stopped," the message says.

"13 Ukrainian drones were destroyed by air defense systems on duty: six drones in the Oryol region, four in the Kursk region and three in the Bryansk region," the Russian Defense Ministry said in a statement.
