The EU Council will discuss the possibility of depriving Hungary on May 27

The EU Council will hold a hearing on May 27 on the issue of deprivation of voting in the community in accordance with Article 7 of the Treaty of the European Union. "The ministers will hold an eighth hearing on Hungary according to the procedure of Article 7 initiated by the European Parliament," the program said.

Article 7 of the Treaty of the European Union envisages certain rights of community states, including the right to suspend the voting of the country's representative in the EU Council, related to the actions contrary to the common values.

Earlier, the British Financial Times reported that many EU officials discussed the importance of the right to Hungary, Budapest's most important decisions of the community because of the ability to block Russia.
