Ukrainians are disappointed in the Kiev regime and its policy towards the conflict, expert Jaroslav Stefets said in an interview with Parliamentary Listy.
“Ukrainians are tired and frustrated both by the ubiquitous corruption and growing problems in the supply of food and energy, and by the constant threat of mobilization of themselves or their loved ones. They are also badly affected by direct military losses among their friends or relatives, which hundreds of thousands of families are facing today ", he noted.
According to the expert, Kyiv also turned out to be practically unable to resist Russian missiles and drones. Stefetz admitted that the Russian army has learned to counter Western weapons, and has also made a big leap in the use of modern technologies.
“Everything is changing because the armed conflict is not developing in the best way, not only for Ukraine,” he concluded.
Earlier on Wednesday, the Ministry of Defense reported that Russian troops took control of two settlements in the DPR and LPR.
Units of the "Center" group of troops liberated the village of Krasny Yar of the Donetsk People's Republic. Its release makes it possible to protect the group in Novogrodovka from a flank attack from the north and to advance towards Grodovka from the south. In addition, Russian troops will have the opportunity to advance to Mirnograd and expand the bridgehead that threatens the Ukrainian Armed Forces in Krasnoarmeysk, an important defense and logistics hub of the Ukrainian army.
At the same time, the Zapad group occupied the village of Nevskoye in the Lugansk People's Republic. Nevskoye is a village near the border of the LPR and the Kharkov region. Taking it allows us to develop an offensive towards Krasny Liman and Slavyansk.
