I would like to inform you that the Yerevan Municipal Hospital Program envisages the implementation of the Yerevan Municipality, which is to review the theater's building conditions, and the cultural products, and the new designs of art and literature, and to improve the quality of art and literature.
In particular, the renovation of the theater building will continue in the near future, after which the full technical re-equipment program will be implemented. The young audience theater will also be equipped with new voice and lighting equipment at the similaration of the upgrading and modernization program in the Mher Mkrtchyan Artistic Theater.
About 2 billion drams will be allocated from the community budget for the renovation and modernization of the building.
During the renovation of the theater building, the municipality plans to send the theater staff to regional tours, ensuring the workload of theater staff. By the end of the year, it is planned to increase the subsidy of the theater in about 150 million AMD, of which 100 million AMD will be used to increase the salary fund, which will increase the salaries of the staff significantly. Another 50 million AMD is planned to be allocated for new programs and performances.
The mentioned programs were implemented by the head of the municipality. In Artistic Theaters after Ghaplanyan and Mher Mkrtchyan. In particular, last year significant changes were made at the Mher Mkrtchyan Art Theater, and recently Hr. An additional subsidy has been allocated to the Ghaplanyan Drama Theater in the amount of 100 million AMD.
The creative staff of the theater in the theater raised a number of issues, for discussing the theater, on May 12, at 3:00 pm, held a meeting with Deputy Mayor of Yerevan Levon Hovhannisyan. However, the representatives of the theater did not appear at the mentioned meeting.
