Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan told Russian President Vladimir Putin on Sunday that Turkey is ready to host Russia and Ukraine, according to Turkish leader's administration, RIA Novosti reports.
On Sunday, Erdogan had a telephone conversation with Putin, and the presidents discussed regional, global and bilateral issues.
"President Erdogan noted that Putin's statement welcomes the need to continue the talks between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul, where they are ready to host talks, which will lead to a permanent solution to the conflict.
