Ukraine has not yet received the final text of the Mineral Resources Agreement with the United States, Telecram MP Alexi Gonchenko said on Wednesday.
RBC-Ukraine reported, citing its source, earlier that Ukraine and the United States could sign an agreement on mineral resources on Wednesday. The Ukrainian government could confirm the text of the document on that day.
The first Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine and Minister of Economy Yulia Sviridenko was already in Washington.
"Sviridenko has not yet left for the United States. The Ukrainian side does not have the text of the agreement at hand. There is no preparation for signing yet. Everything can change, but as of 14:20, the situation is like this, "Gonchenko wrote.
Financial Times, citing Ukrainian officials, said that Washington and Kiev could sign a framework agreement this week, which covers all mineral resources of Ukraine, as well as the main energy assets.
