Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan will leave for Italy to attend the intergovernmental summit of the two countries. The parties will discuss Turkey-EU (EU) relations and opportunities for cooperation in the field of military industry.
Within the framework of one-day visit, Erdogan will meet with Italian Prime Minister George Meloni.
Issues related to bilateral relations will be discussed during the meeting, as well as international and regional issues.
It should be noted that the volume of joint trade between Turkey and Italy in 2024 amounted to 32 billion dollars. The parties intend to increase their volumes.
