The Catholicos of All Armenians took part in the last farewell and funeral ceremonies of Pope Francis. The Facebook page of the Information System of the Mother See informs about this.
"On April 26 of this year, the Scriptures of the Holy High Priest of the Catholic Church, the last Farewell and funeral ceremony of the Catholic Church, attended His Holiness Francisc. His Holiness Karekin II, Supreme Patriarch and Catholicos of All Armenians.
The funeral was served as a sacred liturgy, during which the chiefs of different churches had the opportunity to raise their prayers for the peace of Pope Francis.
The previous day, the Patriarch of All Armenians in St. Peter's temple raised a private prayer for the peace of Pope Francis.
The delegation accompanying the Catholicos of All Armenians includes the representative of the Patriarchal Delegate and the Catholicos of All Armenians in the Vatican, T. Archbishop Khazhak Parsamyan, the diplomol of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin T. Archbishop Archbishop Khachatryan, Director of the Mother See of Foreign Affairs T. Bishop Mushegh Babayan and Director of the Inter-Church Relations Department of the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin T. Archimandrite Garegin Hambardzumyan, "the statement said.
